Bridge Law Courses exists to help students learn, not to do their work for them. We only give feedback on essays that have already been submitted and marked, or on practice essays written entirely outside of formal assessment. We will not review, edit or comment on any piece of work that is going to be submitted for a grade, and we do not write, sell, ghost-write or supply coursework, dissertations, personal statements, take-home exams or any other work on a student's behalf. Requests of that kind will be declined and reported to the relevant body.
For international high school students
Discussion-based sessions for high school students aiming at top universities, particularly for law. I challenge students with the kind of difficult, unfamiliar problems used in Oxbridge interviews and in legal reasoning more broadly, and teach them how to engage with them clearly and confidently.
Sessions are modelled on the Oxford and Cambridge tutorial system. Through discussion, students engage with open-ended problems that sit at the intersection of law, philosophy, and current events. A session might begin with a deceptively simple question ('Should you be able to sue your barber for a bad haircut?') and from there students are guided to wrestle with deeper issues about liability, fairness, and how we decide what the law protects.
Students are thereby pushed to take a position, defend it, and refine it under challenge, exactly as they will be expected to do in interviews, at university, and throughout their careers.

A single hourly rate applies to both essay marking and live tutoring for university law students. As a guide, marking a typical essay takes around 45–50 minutes; your first essay usually takes a little longer because there is more groundwork to cover in the feedback.
