    The Oxford tutorial method

    Sessions are modelled on the Oxford and Cambridge tutorial system. Through discussion, students engage with open-ended problems that sit at the intersection of law, philosophy and current events.

    A session might begin with a deceptively simple question, such as "Should you be able to sue your barber for a bad haircut?", and from there students are guided to wrestle with deeper issues about liability, fairness and how we decide what the law protects.

    Students are pushed to take a position, defend it, and refine it under challenge: exactly as they will be expected to do in interviews, at university, and throughout their careers.
